Video analytics platform Delmondo has been acquired by broadcast and OTT analytics company Conviva. Conviva plans to integrate Delmondo’s product suite into their as soon as 2019 as a new offering called Conviva Social Insights.
Due to the evolution of how audiences are consuming video content, specifically the shifting of video viewing across different screens and devices has driven demand for third-party measurement platforms to provide a holistic picture of how viewers are engaging with content.
Delmondo brings a new level of visibility to the Conviva product set, including measurement and intelligence that spans across every major social media platform, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Twitch and Snapchat.
With Delmondo and Conviva together, content creators and TV publishers can now:
- Build a unified view of video consumption and audience data across streaming TV apps, the web, and social media.
- Reveal the drivers of the viewer journey
- Inform a publisher’s distribution strategy across social platforms.
The new solution will provide a complete view of how premium content is being consumed anywhere, from OTT to YouTube to a website and back.
