IBM has launched the IBM Video Streaming mobile application, a new product that offers enterprise businesses an end-to-end, security-rich solution for live mobile video streaming available on iOS and Android.
The new live streaming application is an extension of IBM’s existing Enterprise Video Streaming solution, a live and on-demand streaming platform which connects global employees on desktop and laptop computers.
The new app includes two new cutting edge feature sets:
- AI-powered automated closed captioning, for accessibility and ADA compliance. Administrators can edit closed captions for clarity and contextual relevance.
- The ability to automatically generate advanced metadata from video content. This allows businesses to search, surface and index content to identify which videos are most engaging for employees and when.
The new mobile product offers businesses full control over video content including ingestion, transcription, storage, distribution, content and metadata management and access.
