eCommerce video platform company Videowise has announced $3 million in a seed funding round led by Slack Fund, with participation from FounderCollective, Underline Ventures, MuVentures and Ratio Ventures. This round of capital investment brings Videowise’s total capitalization to $4.1 million in venture-backed funds.
Videowise considers itself to be a shoppable video platform, launching in 2022 as a video platform for web stores to manage and publish videos, at scale, on an unlimited number of product pages, collection pages or blogs, versus one video per page like other companies.
Videowise is provides a modern video swipe-up experience, similar to what you would find with TikTok or Instagram. Videowise is packed with features such as video playlists, automation, advanced video analytics and much more. The company’s technology infrastructure delivers lightening fast loading times, up to 5x faster than traditional video players.
